Resignation 101: "It Is With a Heavy Heart" Means The Following...

Every seen a resignation come across email that includes the phrase, "It is with a heavy heart"?
Here's what that means:
1. I'm resigning before the posse got to town and took me under custody.
2. This is a forced resignation. My heart's heavy because I don't want to go. Damn, why do I have to go?
3. I'm signaling you, fool! Someone's pissed me off because I didn't agree with their ethical code and I'm resigning to show them how I feel. This is a stand about morals and ethics. Please remember me when I network with you via LinkedIn!
It's with a heavy heart that I write this blog post. Me? I like the people who leave a company like Keyser Soze:
"After that my guess is that you will never hear from him again. The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he did not exist. And like that...<poof>... he is gone."
If you're leaving, don't make a production. Just go. Like Keyser Soze. No drama.
I agree. If you're gonna go, just go. There was no heavy heart in my case and I feel I left on favorable terms. It was a difficult decision, but when the decision was made, I acted upon it.
After I tendered my resignation, an counter offer conversation was initiated. I smiled and politely stated that no counter offer would be accepted. My Director seemed to appreciate the honesty.

For some people, they have just done their job ‘to death’. There is nothing new to learn and no new challenges. The main question if you are in this situation is whether you want a complete change, or whether you want to use your experiences in a new way.
I've read you all valuable post in your blog related career, job etc. I hope to get some reply from about career change. why people like to change their career?

What Annie came to know, is that in a group dynamic of the old therapy ways, where you all sit around and 'share' your story, the story wasn't being told. But, put them in a room doing art, without rules, just giving them the supplies and a few words, incredible things would show up. The body and unconsciousness would be doing the art!

What Annie came to know, is in a group of dynamic old treatment, you sit together "share" your story, the story and not be told. But, put them in a room to do art, no rules, just send them to supply and a few words, incredible things will appear. The body and unconscious do art!
