Life Insurance is Cheaper? - Oh, Now I Feel Better...

A little antsy about your medical insurance trend?   Trended costs since 2000 looking like an X-Games ramp?  Dude, it's totally OK - apparently the plus side of exploding health care costs is that life insurance is cheaper.  With life expectancy up and the boomers prepping to do everything possible to live forever, life insurance may be free by 2025.

OK, let me do that math to see if I am breaking even.  If I am at a company with a million in heathcare costs, my annual premium for 1X life insurance to employees is probably about 40K.  Wait a second... If healthcare grows by 8% a year and life insurance is cut in half over the course of a decade... Ick... Let's just say I am probably not going to get that elusive "HR Exec of the Year" by waiting to cash in that trade-off.

On the plus side, the article made me think about folks who have remained healthy late in life, and I found this cool Jack Lalanne video - face exercises!!!  Get these in 3X per week and cut my health care costs, please...
