Kris, one other comment. I'm very curious about the $12k/yr subsidy provided by ORCL. Since I work for ORCL I'm very surprised that I never heard of it ;-). Maybe that's only offered in Bham?

Sorry I didn't reference that. That was data from the NYT article regarding background on Google's research on their daycare benefit level vs. other tech companies in the valley. Hope the link and the snippet helps with context...

For the record, my daycare costs were in Princeton, NJ. And we could have found cheaper care, but we (obviously) wanted this particular program.

I think I'll move to Silicon Valley and do daycare!
